How to get a flawless face with foundation!

Hey guys,

Here is my blogpost corresponding with my foundation video!

color correcting: 

Green will correct red; red veins and acne

yellow will correct blue/purple; under eyes and purple veins

pink will help with darkness; under eyes, over the yellow to brighten!

Prime:

It seems like you need a green primer. I would suggest the following:

Smashbox photo finish color correcting: Green $38- full size, you can get a travel size in the “to go” bin by the check out line $15

L’oreal studio secrets green primer: $12.99

Foundation:

You’re going to want a medium-full coverage foundation. Or you can use your normal daily foundation.

Dermablend is made to cover tattoos and scars 

Dermablend cover creme: $37

Tarte amazonian clay 12 hr foundation: $38

Revlon color stay foundation $11.99 ** make sure you get the one for your skin either normal/dry and combonation/oily*** it says on the bottle

Cover girl stay fabulous $12

Concelar:

There are many different types. Concelars that match your skin tone and some the correct color and brighten.  The color correcting should go on small spots before foundation and the brightening should be after your foundation.

Skin tone:

Amazing cosmetics amazing concelar: $42 **small size for $28**

MAC Pro longwear $19 MY FAVORITE

Maybelline fit me $6.99

Brighten:

Mybelline instand age rewind in the brightening pink shade $8.99

MAC prep and prime in radiant rose $25 MY FAVORITE

green:

Maybelline corrector concealer in green: $5.99

yellow:

Benefit fake up: $24

NYX concealer in a jar yellow: $4.99

Setting powder and makeup setting spray:

You want to set your makeup with a loose powder to avoid cake face and your makeup to slide off your face!

Dermablend loose setting powder: $25

NYX HD setting powder: $9.99

A makeup setting spray will also help!

Urban Decay All nighter setting spray: $29

You can get a small size in the check out bins for $12

Extra ideas/ products:

It cosmetics bye bye redness: this is a very full coverage product to be used under you foundation and help with coverage. $32

It cosmetics bye bye under eye: This is to help coverup dark circle and brighten $29

Beauty Blender: The BEST way to apply foundation without it looking thick and cake-y.  Its pricey but totally worth it! SEPHORA ONLY $29

Lorac Pro 2! Swatches and comparison!

Hey beauties~
Here are some pictures and swatches of the new Lorac Pro 2 palette!
I have only had this palette for one day so this is not my full review, just a few 1st impressions! My only complaint thus far is the packaging say's nothing about it being the 2nd palette.  I wish it had a 2 on the front so it was clear to people who didn't know.

So far my favorite shadows are: rose, nectar, silver, mocha, chrome.  I REALLY like the shimmer shadows.  The Matte ones are great but I like the shimmer better.  So far I like this palette better than the 1st.  Not that I don't like the 1st, I just prefer this one.  The 1st is great but I have a hard time putting everyday looks together.
Just a comparison of the 1st and 2nd!

New Makeup storage + where have I been??

Hey guys!
So your probably wondering why I have not had a new post up in almost 6 months.....  Basically if you blog then you know how hard it is to take the pictures, and edit them and type up the post.  School takes up most of my time and I'm also in a varsity sport and marching band.  I have posted 2 videos a week on my channel, which is my main priority.

So my freshman year of high school ended friday and now I gave all summer to focus on youtube and get back into blogging!!

Yesterday I went to Ikea to get the ALEX 9 Drawer unit that EVERY blogger uses to store their makeup.  I have out grown my previous storage unit, so it was time to upgrade!  The clear containers inside are from Meijer and the white ones are from Walmart.  I still want to get more clear containers and a few lipstick holders so I don't have to dig threw layers of lipstick.  I'm waiting on those for a few weeks to get those!

I will also be posting 3 videos a week on my channel: Monday, wednesday and friday! PLEASE GIVE ME VIDEO IDEAS!!! I am also going to be auditioning for a collar from ashtagmakeuplove.

Christmas Palette haul and UD Vice palette comparison!

 Hi everyone!!
So if you saw my christmas haul than you know I got a lot of palettes so here is a post swatching them!

I got the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette! This was $59 and you might still be able to find it online!

Here are some comparison pictures from the 1st Vice Palette.

This is the Marc Jacobs eyeshadow palette in the lolita. $59

It's so sleek and beautiful!

All of the shadows swatch beautifully!

My favorite pallete is the Too Faced A few of my Favorite Things palette!  I believe this was around $59.

Here is an over-view.

There are 20 eyeshadows

Every product in the palette is very pigmented.  I can't say this about all the other palettes.

And here are the 2 blushes and 2 bronzers.  The right is the Sun Bunny bronzer: the 1st is both colors mixed, 2nd is the lighter and the last is just the dark color.

The last palette is the Tarte off the cuff palette.  I also believe this was around $40.

The colors are: Crave, dazzled, darling, dollface and park avenue princess bronzer.

Urban Decay Naked 3 is here!!

Hi makeup lovers!

I finally got my hands on the Urban Decay Naked 3 palatte!! Ahhh i'm so happy!

The packaging is just like the Naked 2 but it has some texture and it's more of a bronze rose gold color.

 It has the large mirror, 12 new colors and a double ended brush.

 The first six colors are : strange, dust, burnout, limit, buss and trick.

 The second six are: Nooner. liar, factory, mugshot, darkside and blackheart.

 As you can see in the picture the 2nd color; dust, is chunky and glittery.  All the other colors are perfect!!

 The color nooner is the only one I can find that is similar to any other "Naked Palatte" colors which it tease.

 All of the 3 palattes are $52. They did raise the price for all of them to $52.

 Just for a reference here is the Naked and Naked 2 palatte.
